BG Group’s total LNG operating profit jumped 7% in the second quarter to $594 million due to an increase in shipping and marketing profit.
The UK-based gas player said the results reflected seven fewer cargo deliveries than in quarter one, “mainly as a result of scheduled maintenance at EGLNG”.
LNG cargo deliveries dropped to 46 in the second quarter from 50 in the same period of last year.
