Cheniere Partners has issued a limited notice to contractor Bechtel to proceed with construction of the Sabine Pass LNG export project in the US.
The New York-listed outfit sold $167 million worth of shares to parent company Cheniere Energy and used some of the proceeds to allow its wholly-owned subsidiary Sabine Pass Liquefaction to issue the notice to Bechtel under the engineering, procurement and construction contract for the project.
