Production at the Yemen LNG liquefaction plant has stopped following an attack on the feedstock gas pipeline.
An explosion occurred on 30 March in “a desertic zone” around 40 kilometres north of the Balhaf export facility, said the operator.
The 38 inch pipeline links block 18 to the LNG plant.
“The production has stopped but the loss of production is expected to be limited to four cargoes as the LNG plant was due to shutdown on 15 April for annual maintenance,” said Yemen LNG.
