Trinidad and Tobago’s Atlantic LNG production plant is set to close two trains over the next few weeks.

Train 3, a 3.3 million tonnes per annum unit, will idle this month.

The 5.2 million tpa train 4 is slated for an October shut down, Bloomberg News reported.

The units are controlled by UK-based BG and BP, as well as Spain’s Repsol-YPF, with government-owned Trinidad and Tobago LNG holding a slice of the larger train.
