Atlantic LNG plant takes gas release in its stride

Production and cargo liftings were unaffected at Atlantic LNG in Trinidad & Tobago despite a recent gas release at the export facility, writes Eric Martin.

An incident investigation is under way after the temporary release at Tank C when pressure safety valves lifted, Atlantic LNG said.

The company insisted the incident was not a leak and that the safety valves operated as designed.
