APLNG 2P reserves jump 11%

Proved plus probable reserves for the Australia Pacific LNG export project increased by 11% over the last year.

Project shareholder Origin Energy said the 2P reserves grew by 1,336 petajoules equivalent (Pje) to 13,111 Pje.

However, Origin’s share of production for APLNG dropped in line with its reduced shareholding in the project.

“Australia Pacific LNG delivered a strong increase in annual production,” said Origin chief executive of upstream Paul Zealand.
