US independent Apache is closing in on the award of the final turnkey contract for the $2.9 billion Julimar-Brunello gas project in Western Australia, which will supply feedstock to the Wheatstone LNG export development.
Julimar-Brunello is an all-subsea multi-phase project, with the fields tied in to the central processing platform at Chevron’s Wheatstone field.
The final contract is for the supply and installation of subsea flowlines, umbilicals and other lines totalling some 200 kilometres between Brunello and the Wheatstone platform.
