Angola LNG is preparing to establish a new company to market the 5.2 million tonnes per annum of volumes up for grabs from the soon-to-be operational export plant.

The outfit, which will be led by Sonangol with a 50% shareholding, will be based in the UK.

“We will form a new company to market LNG cargoes on a global basis,” said Sonangol Gas Natural’s Angola LNG project director Artur Pereira at the CWC World LNG Summit in Rome.

Pereira
