Cheniere Energy has received the go ahead to kick off site preparation for its Sabine Pass LNG export project in Louisiana.
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approved the developer’s implementation plan to allow for the mobilisation of construction equipment and site clearing work.
It also covers the installation of erosion and sediment control devices and soil stabilisation.
The approval does not, however, stretch to any foundation work for the project.
