A three-way race is under way for a large subsea contract at Inpex’s Abadi floating liquefaction project in Indonesia.
The development comprises three main components — the FLNG vessel; subsea production system including trees and manifolds; and the subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines.
JP Kenny, IntecSea Engineering and Fluor are said to have survived a pre-qualification phase and are now embarking on a two-stage bid for the latter contract, according to sources.
