Russia’s Gazprom is potentially set to supply LNG to PetroVietnam Gas.
The gas giant’s trading arm, Gazprom Marketing and Trading Singapore, signed a memorandum of understanding with the terminal developer which pledges cooperation in the LNG field.
PVGas inked a similar deal with Japan’s Tokyo Gas earlier this year.
Vietnam is set to house a 1 million tonnes per annum import project at a five-hectare brownfield plot alongside PVGas’ Thi Vai liquefied petroleum gas treatment plant in the Cai Mep Industrial Zone, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.
