France’s Total is in talks to lift its stake in the Ichthys LNG export project to 30%.
The oil and gas giant currently holds a 24% share of the Inpex-led project under construction in Australia.
Total’s president of exploration and production, gas and power, Yves-Louis Darricarrere, revealed that the equity discussions are taking place at a media briefing this week.
He said the move reflects Total’s confidence in the LNG development.
