Tokyo Gas has signed a preliminary deal that will see it help PetroVietnam Gas with LNG procurement.
Under a memorandum of understanding, the Japanese utility will cooperate with PV Gas across the LNG value chain in Vietnam.
The MOU includes developing downstream gas demand, as well as information exchange on cogeneration and fuel conversion technologies, Tokyo Gas said.
The Japanese company also could help train PV Gas teams in LNG terminal operations.
