Taiwan imports up 11% in June

Taiwan boosted its LNG imports by 11% last month.

The country brought in 1.17 million tonnes in June, compared with 1.05 million the previous year, according to Bloomberg analysis of customs data.

Taiwan paid around $752 per tonne for last month’s LNG, totalling $880 million.
