LNG imports into Taiwan increased in July, but only marginally.
The country brought in 1.37 million last month at a cost of $1.1 billion, according to customs data.
This represented just a 0.6% rise on the 1.36 million tonnes imported in July 2011.
The volumes did, however, mark a 17% rise on June’s imports.
