Power conglomerate AES is scouring the market for up to four spot cargoes for its Dominican Republic import terminal.
The US-based operator is first targeting the Atlantic basin for a competitively priced 135,000 cubic-metre shipment for the first half of December. It is also kicking off procurement for an additional two to three cargoes for 2012.
However, AES is holding out for a good price for this year’s extra delivery.
