Top European importer Spain has been playing a role as a re-exporter in recent months as slow domestic demand has met with more exciting prices in Asia and South America.
After two re-exports in September, four are scheduled for October and more in November, according to Waterborne Energy and Spanish grid operator Enagas.
Vessel tracking data show that the 71,651-cbm SCF Polar (built 1969), which is on charter to Spain’s Repsol-YPF, arrived early this month at the Reganosa terminal at Mugardos to take a reload cargo.
