South Korea saw its imports surge by 49.8% in February.
The world’s second largest LNG market brought in 4.66 million tonnes of the fuel last month, compared to 3.11 million tonnes a year earlier, customs data show.
February’s figure is also an increase on the previous month, when South Korea imported 2.9 million tonnes.
