South Korea’s LNG imports shrank in March as prices gained ground.
The world’s second largest LNG market brought in 3.49 million tonnes of the fuel last month, a 7.3% drop on the 3.78 million tonnes in the same month of last year.
Average prices amounted to $13.58 per million British thermal units, up from $10.90 a year ago, according to customs data.
