Demand for LNG as a marine fuel is set to skyrocket in Europe thanks to the emergence of new emissions regulation in the coming years.
A study of sulphur emissions controlled areas (SECA) in Northern Europe suggests demand will grow to between 2 million and 6 million tonnes per annum by 2020, climbing to between 5 million and 10 million tpa in 2030.
