Repsol of Spain has warned of legal action after officially cancelling the remaining nine cargoes slated for delivery to Argentina this year.
The move, the latest blow in a row over the government’s expropriation of Repsol’s stake in YPF, follows cancellation of the first 2012 cargo set to be delivered to Argentinean state-controlled Enarsa.
Repsol has ripped up the 10-cargo deal over alleged contract breaches, including not paying up for the scheduled May delivery.
