RasGas has delivered its maiden LNG cargo under its latest long-term deal with Taiwan’s CPC.
The Qatari producer shipped volumes to the Yung An terminal yesterday onboard the 138,000-cbm Fuwairit (built 2004).
RasGas inked a contract with CPC in December to deliver 1.5 million tonnes per annum of LNG for 20 years starting in 2013, with additional volumes to be shipped from 2012 to 2016.
