PTT of Thailand is expected to need additional LNG cargoes to make up for two planned domestic production outages.
The company’s PTTEP subsidiary is planning to shut the Bongkot offshore platform for maintenance between 25 and 31 May, cutting gas production by 630 million cubic feet per day, the Bangkok Post reports.
Chevron is also planning to shut down the Erawan gas field for maintenance between 1 and 8 August.
