Petronet LNG’s boss says his company is in talks for the final uncommitted export capacity at Sabine Pass LNG.
Managing director AK Balyan told Bloomberg News that the Indian import terminal operator is negotiating with Sabine Pass owner Cheniere Energy and other developers of US liquefaction projects.
Cheniere has sold 16 million tonnes per annum of the total 18 million tpa planned for the terminal, where the company plans to embark on a project to convert the facility to run as a bi-directional import-export plant.
