Pakistan’s Supreme Court has rejected a government plea to get its LNG import policy off the ground.
The court threw out a petition filed by the government against a decision by the Lahore High Court to postpone the LNG regulation.
Instead, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said the administration must lodge a petition back in the high court.
Chaudhry noted that the policy currently looks set to favour one person.
