Indian Oil Corporation has extended the pre-qualification period for LNG spot market players interested in joining a panel of suppliers.
The government-controlled company has pushed back the deadline from 8 to 27 March.
Indian Oil, which is developing two regas terminals in the fast-growing importing nation, is looking to build a panel of suppliers to participate in future short-notice LNG tenders.
Members will be invited to bid on cargoes to be delivered to Petronet LNG’s Dahej terminal or the Shell-controlled Hazira facility, in addition to Indian Oil’s proposed Ennore LNG site.
