Spot Henry Hub gas prices in the US lost ground, falling to $3.40 per million Btu on Thursday from $3.59 a week earlier. Storage inventories grew by a better-than-expected 78 billion cubic feet while nationwide natural gas consumption increased by 12.6% compared with last week.
