Prompt gas prices reached a seven-month high this week thanks to temperatures that were below seasonal norms. Day-ahead national balancing point prices jumped to 60.10 pence per therm at Thursday’s close, up from 53.20p a week earlier. Send-out at National Grid’s Grain LNG terminal rose by 20.6% to 1.85 billion kilowatt hours in the week ending Wednesday, up from 1.53
