- Asian spot prices lost more ground this week as demand for cargoes from utilities continued to weaken. Rim Intelligence’s Northeast Asia spot assessment for second-half January deliveries slipped to an average of $17.60 per million British thermal units yesterday from $17.75 a week earlier. Rim said just two end-users have any spot demand for January.
