Asian spot slip
Asian spot LNG prices dipped further this week as the supply-demand balance in the region slackened for the traditionally slow month of November. Rim Intelligence price assessments fell to an average of $17.25 per million British thermal units for second-half November cargoes from $17.35 for the same delivery date this time last week. However, rumours of a December shipment booked by a Japanese buyer at $18 or higher are fuelling optimism for winter prices.
