- BP will launch a tender next week for four LNG cargoes from its Tangguh LNG export project in Indonesia. Oil and gas regulator BPMigas said the Indonesian unit of BP will sell shipments for deliveries at the end of this month or mid-July, according to Bloomberg. A second tender may then be launched in August for another four cargoes.
- Japanese utility Tokyo Electric Power Company is buying an additional 1 million tonnes per annum of LNG from export giant Qatargas, with deliveries kicking off from August.
