Thailand could hike imports at its new LNG terminal after a pipeline leak threatened a short-term supply gap.
PTT discovered the leak Saturday at one of its three pipelines from the Plathong field.
The state-run oil and gas company said the situation has resulted in a 600 million cubic feet per day decline in the total 4.4 billion cfd gas supply.
Although the leak is under control, PTT said today that it will procure LNG and fuel oil to meet the supply gap.
