Argentina’s expropriation of YPF from Spain’s Repsol is threatening to have repercussions for the country’s LNG procurement drive ahead of the southern winter.
Repsol has already suspended a 15 May delivery, the first of 10 scheduled from the company this year, following President Christina Fernandez de Kirchner’s declaration.
Argentine utility Enarsa failed to pay up-front or to provide a letter of credit in time, industry sources said.
