Korea Gashas received the first cargo under its newest sale and purchase agreement withQatar’s RasGas.

The SouthKorean LNG buyer signed the 20-year deal last month.

The companywill receive 2 million tonnes per annum from RasGas 3 beginning in 2013, plusincremental cargoes between 2012 and 2016.

“This SPA demonstrates our unsurpassed commitment to the LNG industry andour long-term LNG customers in meeting their growing LNG and broader energydemand,” said RasGas marketing and shipping executive Khalid Sultan Al Kuwari.
