Lithuania’s Klaipedos Nafta has signed a preliminary deal with Lietuvos Energija for off-take from the country’s maiden LNG import terminal.
Klaipedos said this marks the first step in the negotiations on gas supply from the project.
Volumes, terms of delivery, pricing and distribution of responsibilities will be firmed up with Lithuanian energy company Lietuvos in a final agreement, set to be signed at the end of December 2012.
