Companies are rushing to cash in on the huge potential of LNG fuelling.Shell, for example, this week unveiled plans to get into truck fuelling in Canada and to push ship bunkering around the world alongside Wartsila.
Meanwhile, Europe’s second biggest port, Hamburg, is mulling whether to set up an LNG fuelling terminal. If it goes ahead the project could open in the heart of the most promising market for marine fuelling thanks to an emissions control area set to go into force in Northern Europe.
