Korea Gas told investors today that it plans to import nearly 36.5 million tonnes of LNG in 2012.
The figure would represent a slight drop on the 36.7 million tonnes imported last year.
Kogas, a Seoul-based gas distributor, said it expects to sell the LNG equivalent of 36.4 million tonnes of gas.
The company expects to earn 211 billion won ($188 million) in net income during the year, according to a Korea Exchange filing.
