Flex LNG has wound down its project team for the InterOil-led Gulf LNG project in Papua New Guinea.
The Norwegian company had been targeting the development for its first floating LNG production unit.
Chief executive Philip Fjeld said Flex has shed about 10 people and is now operating with a staff of around 30 from offices in London, Oslo and Singapore.
He said the company is back to “sustainable staffing levels” after InterOil pushed back its planned sanction date.
