New Delhi has hatched a policy to allow industrial gas users to swap regasified LNG for domestic gas.
The new rules broaden access to LNG imports in the country by giving more flexibility to gas buyers that cannot tap terminal send-out because of the one-way flow of India's pipelines.
The new policy would allow industrial buyers to buy regasified LNG on India's west coast and exchange it for gas allocated to other customers from the east coast KG D6 gas project.
