Power player AES has secured a top-up contract for four additional LNG cargoes at its Andres import terminal in the Dominican Republic (pictured).
BP, which already has an 11-shipment term deal with AES, will provide one extra cargo this year and three in 2012.
The shipments will each be around 3 trillion British thermal units.
This year’s load will arrive in the first half of December with the following three to be dropped off in April, July and September of next year.
