Hokkaido Electric Power Company has given itself a brief respite from the shutdown of Japan’s last operating nuclear reactor.
Unit 3 of the utility’s Tomari nuclear power plant will now undergo a periodic inspection beginning 5 May, instead of the end of April, the company said today.
The announcement comes the same day that Tokyo Electric Power Company shut down its last operating reactor.
