Brazilian electricity player Hidrotermica is exploring alternatives for its proposed Tergas LNG terminal and power plant project after ditching plans to participate in a government power auction this week.
The company, controlled by the Bolognesi group, is mulling whether it can bundle enough previously awarded power purchase agreements to begin construction of Tergas, said a source with knowledge of the project.
