GE and Chesapeake Energy have signed a preliminary deal to bring LNG and compressed natural gas fuelling solutions to market in the United States.
Under the memorandum of understanding, the US-headquartered companies will work together in the transport and home fuelling markets.
Chesapeake, one of the largest shale gas holders in the United States, has been working to develop LNG fuelling as a way to market its resources at home.
