Europe’s key flexible LNG terminals are expected to remain active this winter season thanks to Qatari volumes but Asia’s forecast red-hot demand is likely to hamper growth.
Rafael McDonald, an analyst focused on the short-term market for consultancy IHS Cera, said spot cargoes and other flexible volumes will continue to flow into UK terminals and Belgium’s Zeebrugge LNG, with Turkey and Greece poised to attract short-term supplies as well.
