Spain’s National Energy Commission (CNE) has proposed delaying commissioning of an import terminal under construction at El Musel in the northern city of Gijon.
The project, owned by gas transmission heavyweight Enagas, is unnecessary in the current economic climate and will make it harder for Spain’s remaining terminals to maintain a minimum level of imports to sustain operations, a CNE report argued.
