LNG imports to China fell 11% in August from the prior month’s record levels.
The country saw 1.05 million tonnes brought in for the month, compared to 1.18 million tonnes in July. But, the figure marked a year-on-year rise of 5%..
China’s imports for the first eight months of 2011 were up 27.9% year-on-year to stand at 7.41 million tonnes.
The average price of LNG was around $9.50
