Brunei LNG taps HHI for ships

Exporter Brunei LNG has ordered an LNG carrier newbuilding at Hyundai Heavy Industries of South Korea.

The companies also signed a memorandum of understanding to build a second LNG carrier at the yard, Brunei government newswire RTB reported.

Sister newspaper TradeWinds reported last month that HHI was expected to win the order for the 165,000-cbm ships.
