Petronet LNG has hatched a small-scale marketing strategy that could see the Indian importer ship break-bulk from its domestic terminals.
The company hopes to use small LNG carriers to deliver volumes to gas users along the Indian coastline as well as in neighbouring countries, according to Petronet documents.
The terminal operator is also hoping to carry out direct marketing to far-flung inland customers in the power, refinery and fertiliser sector by sending out more trucked volumes.
