India’s Bharat Petroleum Corporation is targeting 40% of the off-take from the Kochi LNG import terminal.



The government-owned company said it will purchase close to 2 million tonnes per annum of the plant’s eventual 5 million tpa capacity.



“We are expecting almost 40% of the utilisation,” said Bharat Petroleum finance director S Varadarajan in a conference call this week.



The company’s Kochi oil refinery will receive most of the regasified LNG.



“Kochi
