Spot prices in Asia plunged again this week as ample cargo availability applied downward pressure to the market.
Rim Intelligence’s Northeast Asia price assessment fell to an average of $15.50 per million British thermal units for deliveries in the first half of September, down 5.2% on last week’s $16.35 for the same delivery window.
North-west European delivered prices have also slumped over the week by about 5% to $10.70,
